Vision

To promote kidney cancer research to make Canada a global leader in the management of kidney cancer patients.

Mission

Kidney Cancer Research Network of Canada will be a virtual and inclusive network of clinicians, researchers and survivors committed to the facilitation of kidney cancer research across different sites in Canada that will enhance the knowledge of kidney cancer and its treatment.

OBJECTIVES

  • To increase awareness about kidney cancer research
  • To develop and implement national strategies that will enable expansion of kidney cancer research projects
  • To support and improve mechanisms to conduct clinical trials through existing (NCIC CTG, CUOG) or new organizations
  • To develop evidence for treatment consensus
  • To encourage investment by others in the field of kidney cancer research
  • To collaborate closely with Kidney Cancer Canada and any other cancer survivor groups with an interest in kidney cancer
