It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of our friend, community member and supporter, Dave Trbizan.
More than a year ago Dave began a mission to raise money for Kidney Cancer Canada- Cancer du rein Canada.
Time and time again he said and showed his mission was to help patients and their families so they would not experience what he and his family went through during his care pathways.
Even during treatment Dave focussed on an impressive undertaking, a commitment to raise $100,000. When he met that goal, he set a new goal, to reach $200,000.
His last conversation with us was to update his story, to share with our community his care and his dream. See his story here.
Dave was a passionate and caring man and he will be missed by the hundreds of people whose lives he touched.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
